1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using hum ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Service Description

hum provides an AI-powered music generation service that allows users to create custom songs and lyrics based on text inputs.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you may need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Purchases and Payments

  • Payment Processing: All financial transactions are handled by our third-party payment processor, Paddle. We do not store your any payment details from you.
  • Pricing: Prices for songs and credits are listed on our Pricing page and are subject to change without notice.
  • Refunds:

    14-Day Guarantee: Hum provides a 14-day full refund guarantee for all unused credits or song generations. If you have purchased a generation and have not yet initiated the AI process, you are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the original transaction.

    Used Generations: Due to the immediate high-compute costs of AI music generation, once a song generation has been successfully initiated and delivered, the transaction is final and non-refundable.

    Technical Failures: In any instance where a technical error prevents the delivery of a song (e.g., system crash or API failure), a full refund or a replacement credit will be issued. All requests for technical refunds must be submitted to support@tryhum.cc within 14 days of the purchase date.

5. Intellectual Property and Content

  • Your Input: You retain ownership of the text stories and prompts you input into the Platform. You grant hum a license to use this input to generate your content.
  • Generated Audio: Upon full payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use the generated audio for personal and commercial use.
  • Platform Rights: All software, design, and code of the Platform are owned by hum.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or to generate hate speech, explicit violence, or harmful content.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code or AI models of the Platform.
  • Share your account credentials with others.

7. Limitation of Liability

hum is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, hum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
